IELTS is aimed at people who want to study in an English-speaking environment, work in or emigrate to an English-speaking country, or get a job in your own country where English proficiency is required. For this reason, there are two IELTS tests to choose from:
IELTS Academic
IELTS Academic is intended for those seeking higher education or professional registration in an Englishspeaking country. It includes sections on listening, reading, writing, and speaking, with the reading and writing tasks focusing on academic topics and visual data interpretation.
IELTS General Training
IELTS General Training, on the other hand, is designed for individuals migrating to English-speaking countries or applying for secondary education, training programs, or work experience. Its reading and writing tasks are more general, including real-world texts and letter-writing.
